Articles cannot be edited after they've been distributed. The problem is that once an article is distributed and published on certain websites, if it were changed and distributed again, it would create multiple copies of the article all over the Internet. So once an article is distributed it can't be edited. You can, however, stop it from being distributed more by changing the article's distribution dates. And you can also login to article directories that have published it by using the username, email address, and password of your pen name account. You can manually edit the article at the specific article directories that have published it.

Before an article is distributed, though, you can edit it. If you see an article awaiting review, for example, there should be an "edit" button where you can change the article. :)
